ABOUT NETHOPE
NetHope enables its members, and the nonprofit sector, to be more effective and efficient—and accelerate their impacts—through the use of technology.NetHope, a consortium of 60 leading global nonprofits, unites with technology companies and funding partners to design, fund, implement, adapt, and scale innovative approaches to solve development, humanitarian, and conservation challenges. Together, the NetHope community strives to transform the world, building a platform of hope for those who receive aid and those who deliver it.
NetHope’s The Center for the Digital Nonprofit is an ambitious initiative that pulls the future forward so that international nonprofits can “Do good better.” Through innovation and collaboration, The Center brings together the expertise of the technology sector with the on-the-ground experience of global nonprofits to create a network for committed, forward-looking organizations to improve the world we share. By providing the guidance, resources and tools, and grantmaking needed for digital transformation, The Center helps nonprofits achieve the promise of tomorrow today.
OUR CONVICTION
Technology is an enabler and an accelerator of humanitarian and conservation impact. Collaboration around technology leads to better results. NetHope builds bridges and partnerships to achieve these results.
OUR MISSION
NetHope enable its members, and the nonprofit sector, to be more effective and efficient—and accelerate their impacts—through the use of technology.
OUR VALUES
Technology matters; benefiting all benefits one; learning through collaboration; build for the field; bias for action; and trust above all else.
WHAT WE DO
NetHope convene our nonprofit members to identify common challenges, aggregate demand, provide resources, tools, and guidance for digital transformation, develop lessons learned, policies, standards, and a unified voice of the sector across our membership.
We partner with technology companies and sector participants to develop insights and advocate for technology adoption in the sector.
We implement programs when we can fill a gap in multi-stakeholder platforms, infrastructure and services, in collaboration with members, learn and share, and provide services more efficiently than members can procure on their own.
NetHope provides relief and resources to the vulnerable. NetHope has responded in a variety of disaster situations around the world, ranging from hurricanes in the Caribbean (Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and Dorian in the Bahamas), the Syrian Refugee Crisis in Greece and the Balkans and the millions displaced from Venezuela, to the Ebola outbreak; currently, we are working to help our member organizations respond and react to the momentous demands of the COVID-19 pandemic. Response includes connectivity in refugee camps and along migration routes; managed laptops to aid refugee resettlement; and through crisis informatics and data visualization to equip aid agencies in emergency response. Please see our project pages for more detail on our work.
NetHope invests in its members, and the nonprofit sector. NetHope is a member organization, counting more than 60 of the world’s leading nonprofits as its community. The NetHope Solutions Center is a rich resource and collaboration center available to our members and the nonprofit sector at large, with webinars, case studies, and articles. NetHope members are invited to participate in our annual Global Summit and regional chapter meetings. Members also have access to collective impact grants and the NetHope Leadership Institute.

OUR PARTNERS
In addition to our 60 members, the NetHope community includes more than five dozen committed technology and funding partners who help us apply the power of technology to the problems of humanity. Our partners contribute their expertise, funding, equipment, and services, and occasionally even volunteers in the field. Others support us as sponsors of the NetHope Global Summit or offer products we can use from headquarters to the field. Here’s a summary list:
